Meet the Founder
Carter Mothershed is a high school junior in Alabaster, Alabama, and the founder of the Miles of Smiles Initiative. Inspired by her dream of becoming a dentist and her passion for helping others, Carter launched this project to raise awareness about the importance of dental hygiene for children.
As a soft-spoken leader, Carter believes that even quiet voices can spark big change—and she’s committed to using her platform to promote health, confidence, and access in her community.
